New dog in town!
The new Humble Indie Bundle V came out today. I haven’t purchased one of those yet, but the games line up this time just made my wallet float out of my packet and onto my keyboard.
I’ve been wanting to play Psychonauts for a while now, but never got around to buying it for my xbox. Should work just as fine on the PC, I guess. I’m very excited to try it. Maybe I’m just gonna whip out my xbox controller connector thingy and play on my tv :)
Next there’s Amnesia, a game that I’ve been both eager and at the same time terribly afraid to try. Ever since I saw some of those reaction videos and read about all those crapped pants this game caused I wanted to play it. The demo didn’t start on my old laptop, so I never could. Now I have a new machine and finally got the opportunity to play the first hour, and wow.. might as well store some rolls of toilet paper next to my laptop.
The other 3, Bastion, Limbo and Superbrothers: Sword & Sorcery are all titles that I haven’t really tried yet, but from what I’ve read and seen online they’re well worth getting.
I highly recommend getting this bundle, since its name-your-price so you can pay any amount you’d like, plus it is for a good cause, since part of the money goes to charity. Also, it ensures that there will be more bundles like this in the future. No matter what price you choose to pay, every single one of those games is worth it.

Game night with the dudes!

I did this one for my girl :) She said “I want one of those on a tanktop!” And this is what I came up with. Hope she likes it!
I picked those up today to finally start what I wanted to do for a long time: to actually READ all those classic pieces of literature that everyone and their grandma seems to talk about. After reading many “books that everyone should have read” and seeing the recently released movie trailer for The Great Gatsby I really wanted to get into that. Though I vaguely know what most of them are about, I haven’t actually read one of them.
I’m really looking forward to reading the original Alice in Wonderland, since I loved the Disney version of it and always found the overall idea of it fascinating. I also loved the Alice games by American McGee (although they are a whole different approach to the story).
OMG. I. Love. This. Game. Imagine how awesome it would be if Rare still made games like this for the Xbox360. Infinite amount of awesome. But no, instead we get shit like Nuts & Bolts. *shudders*
